Together We Work helps individuals with disabilities explore meaningful employment, volunteer opportunities, job training, and workplace supports based on their strengths, interests, and goals. Through this program, Together We Care walks alongside individuals and families as they think through the next steps toward work, independence, purpose, and community connection.
Together We Work may include support with:
Volunteer opportunities
Job readiness and training
Job coaching
Customized employment planning
Supported employment services
Parent and family meetings to determine employment goals
Connections to community-based work opportunities
Guidance through GVRA-related next steps
Families interested in employment services should begin by applying through GVRA
Once the individual is assigned a GVRA counselor, families may contact Together We Care to be added to our employment services waitlist. A member of our team will follow up to discuss next steps and determine how Together We Work may be able to support the individual’s employment goals.
